Maison Fogal

Léon Fogal, the son of a sock maker, established the brand over a century ago to enhance the beauty of Swiss women by offering the first stockings made of natural fibers.

Innovation is at the heart of FOGAL, which brought “nylons” to Switzerland in the 1940s, led the worldwide craze for colorful tights in the 60s, and, in the 70s, a first for a fashion brand, established collaborations with the world’s most renowned artists who showcased their artistic interpretations of FOGAL on everything from train stations, buildings and shopping totes.

The spirit of innovation has endured over the decades with line extensions in athletic wear and swimwear in revolutionary fabrics that reflect the brand’s continued insistence on quality and comfort.

With new ownership and an eye to the future, FOGAL remains true to its core values of Swiss craftsmanship, innovative and sustainable materials and exceptional quality.
